Greetings fellow dungeoneers!

We are proud to announce the One Page Dungeon Contest is returning for 2023! Your challenge: To design an awesome, original dungeon on one page for others to share and enjoy. As with previous years, your entry will be compiled into the yearly compendium.

This year’s theme is “And Still They Rise.” Let your imagination soar as you interpret this theme in any way you deem fit. Whether you choose to design a dungeon teeming with indomitable foes who continuously return, an enchanting labyrinth with intricate gravity that defies logic and reason, or a hidden sanctuary where forgotten heroes ascend, the possibilities are endless. The theme is only advisory, but we hope it gives you ideas.

The submission form opened on July 1st and closes on July 31st. See dungeoncontest.com for all the details. Given the boom in AI, we’ve updated our rules to reflect this new reality. Basically, feel free to have ChatGPT help give you ideas, but writing the text yourself is still best. If you want to use AI art, be sure to read our updated submission guidelines.

Prizes will be awarded to anyone who makes it into the Winner’s Circle. There will also be a prize for the theme winner. The youth category will be returning for a second year as well.
